Knochenwald 2 - Fleischernte (2002)

A near-perfect second entry into the Knochenwald series that, unfortunately, still doesn't have an English version to be found.

This movie follows the same basic formula as the first, except this time there is a cannibalistic killer that escaped from a mental institution who teams up with our main killer. From what I understand he was in the same mental institution as our main killer, and they both have a grudge against the establishment, and there is a guy from the institution hunting both of them down.

Like the first movie, this installment gives you what you're asking for: gore, gore and more gore, and it's increased TENFOLD this time around. Almost all of it is really awesome except for something absolutely unacceptable that I am unable to ignore: two scenes of absolutely, terribly, unbelievably atrocious CGI "gore" that was incredibly unnecessary and almost dragged the movie down a bit for me, but not enough to dock it a star.

An incredibly worthy entry into the Knochenwald series and the gore genre in general, after this one and the first movie, I have very high hopes for the third installment, it's supposed to be the goriest one yet!
